The GREATEST of all men, the most honourable of ALL Prophet's character:
Aisha رضي الله عنها once had a dispute with the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم.
He said, 'Okay Aisha, I want to get someone to reconcile between us.' She agreed. He said, 'Umar?' She said, 'No'. He said, 'Ali?' She replied 'No.' He mentioned so and so but she refused. Then he صلى الله عليه وسلم said, 'your father?' Aisha said, 'Yes, my father is okay!'
He, the Prophet of Allah brought her father and the father (Abu Bakr) came to fix the problem. Aisha was sitting on one side, the Prophet on that side and Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه was listening.
The Prophet asked Aisha, 'Do you want to start first or would you like me to start first?' She said, 'You start first but don't tell nothing but the truth!' You know what Abu Bakr did? He jumped on her i.e since when will the Prophet not tell the truth?!
She ran very quickly to hide...you know where she ran to hide? Behind the Prophet's back!
The matter ended right there.
Every once in a while when her father would pass by what did the Prophet tell Aisha? 'Do you remember O Aisha?' 'What O Messenger of Allah?' 'I saved you from that man, do you remember I saved you from that man one time?'
What do you think about that? This is the Prophet of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم!
The greatest and most honourable man Allah created to walk the face of the Earth! He صلى الله عليه وسلم was the busiest of men baring the responsibility of taking mankind out from darkness to light, despite all this one finds his character, his manners, his behaviour towards all people the most magnificent. His character was of such that any individual who spoke to him would feel as if they were the most beloved to him.
Messenger of Allah | The Superlative Exempler. The intricate, subtle, nuanced usage of Allah's choicest words baffle me. Leaving me in awe of his perfection, and in this case, how Allah speaks about his final messenger. The limitlessly praised one, Muhammad (Peace be upon him) Allah makes mention in the Qur'an: لَّقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الاٌّخِرَ وَذَكَرَ اللَّهَ كَثِيراً "There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent 'example' for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often." (33:21)
The particular word I want to highlight which used in this Aayah is أُسْوَةٌ. Which is loosely translated as an "Example" Now for a person who has some understanding of the Arabic language, it makes one wonder why Allah didn't use the more common word "مَثَلٌ" which translates as an "Example"? Why choose أُسْوَةٌ instead? Looking deeper into the deeper linguistic side of the word أُسْوَةٌ (اَسَوَ ), I found that it also means; "to nurse, treat a wound, to heal, to make peace" Upon reflection and thinking about this deeply, every human being has flaws in his character, in our mannerisms, deficiencies, weaknesses and so on. These weaknesses and blemishes in our personality are 'wounds' in our character. So Allah sent Rasulullah as an أُسْوَةٌ. As a "Healer" The أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ As Allah states. The Excellent (healing) Example. When we seek to follow HIS example in areas we lack in, we are looking for a treatment, a cure. His Example will tend to and nurse our flaws and illnesses of our character and manners. His example, only in following His example will we be healed and it will mend us. Following the Sunnah is not an option, it is the necessary divine healing we have been prescribed by our Master so High through the perfection of the final messengers character. صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم !
"When these Ayat were revealed to the Prophet (ﷺ): 'Allah only wishes to remove the Rijs from you, O members of the family, and to purify you with a thorough purification (33:33)' in the home of Umm Salamah, he called for Fatimah, Hasan, Husain, and wrapped him in the cloak, and 'Ali was behind him, so he wrapped him in the cloak, then he said: 'O Allah! These are the people of my house, so remove the Rijs from them, and purify them with a thorough purification.' So Umm Salamah said: 'And I, Prophet of Allah?' He said: 'You are in your place (meaning you are already a member of my household), and you are goodness.'"

“And when you ask [his wives] for something, ask them from behind a partition.
