Being ungrateful for a blessing does not necessarily mean it will be taken away, for Allah may allow it to remain as a punishment for the ungrateful; through it they divide and over it they fight: { لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ ۖ وَلَئِن كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِي لَشَدِيدٌ } “If you are grateful, I will increase you [in favor]; but if you are ungrateful, indeed, My punishment is severe.” [Ibrāhīm 14:7]
Whomever Allah grants a favor and he is not happy with it, then either he did not give thanks for it or he is involved in a sin that has deprived him of its blessing: { لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ } “If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor].” [Ibrāhīm 14:7]
It is also narrated, “A man may be deprived of provision due to a sin that he commits.”
"Remember that He promised, 'If you are thankful, I will give you more'" (Qur'an 14:7) The blessings that are in your hands are seeds; if planted in the land of gratefulness, they will ripen and harvest beautiful fruits. Pledge to plant your tree in such a blessed land. Gems From The Quran Telegram: goo.gl/ZclAR9 Instagram: goo.gl/OaiQD7 Facebook: goo.gl/jJ90YS
Allah (SWT) remembers those who remember Him and are grateful towards Him. لَٮِٕن شَڪَرۡتُمۡ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمۡ “If you are thankful, I will give you more” (Qur’an 14:7) Meaning, for every blessing we appreciate, Allah (SWT) will give more. Know that thankfulness to Allah is submission of the heart, recognition of His blessings, praise with the tongue, and using every limb in obedience to Him. “Yielding constant fruit” (Qur’an 14:25) This is how Allah makes the comparison between a good word being like a good tree, whose root is firmly fixed and its branches high in the sky producing its fruit all the time. Do not stop planting good words. Gems From The Quran Telegram: goo.gl/ZclAR9 Instagram: goo.gl/OaiQD7 Facebook: goo.gl/jJ90YS
“O our Lord! Surely you know what we hid and what we make public” (Qur’an 14:38) From the hidden and public worries, Ibrahim AS complained of the hidden form first. This may be because what is hidden is more painful and severe, and Allah is aware of that sadness that you struggle to pronounce.
