Surah Yousuf was revealed to the Prophet as a tasriyyah wa tasliyyah.
In the story of Yusuf (as) he was right and she was wrong, but she immediately tried to twist the version of events and blame it on him.
And they both raced to the door, and she tore his shirt from the back, and they found her husband at the door. She said, "What is the recompense of one who intended evil for your wife but that he be imprisoned or a painful punishment?" Yusuf - 25
In life you will find people of this nature. Don't worry because Allaah knows. Set the record straight and move on.
"But Yusuf kept it within himself and did not reveal it to them." (12:77)
Sometime you will hear hurtful words from your own family members or relatives. It is best practice to dismiss (perhaps not all) but MUCH of these hurtful words. Ignore them, turn away, and don't be hasty to reply back. Often there is a great deal of benefit when you just keep it to yourself intending a greater good and reward from Allah.
Imam Sa’adi mentions some of the difficult circumstances Yusuf faced at the time when he was being called to do zina:
Firstly; Allaah has placed in man’s nature an inclination towards a woman, just like the inclination of a thirsty person towards water and that of a hungry person towards food… Yusuf (at the time) was a young man, and the sexual desire of a young man is much stronger. He was a bachelor. He was a slave of the Azeez’s wife and was bought for a few dirhams. And a slave has no control over his affairs. He was a stranger in the land; a stranger in a strange land can fulfil desires, which he is not able to fulfil in his own land and in the presence of his family and those who know him well. The wife of the Azeez was a woman of high status and beauty; so one these two (affairs) calls one to agree with her request. The wife of the Azeez was not inaccessible. She sought after Yusuf; she desired him and was infatuated with him. Many, many men become filled with vanity/pride when a woman (merely) waves or winks at them! Yusuf was living in her house. He was under her authority and would have feared being harmed for refusing to obey her in what she was calling him to. Yusuf was safe from being exposed; because she sought after him and locked the doors. She also appeared in her best adornment and said to Yusuf: Come on forward (to my body)! She also threatened Yusuf with imprisonment and belittlement. She sought the assistance of the rest of the women and Yusuf sought the assistance of Allaah against them! Acts of obedience divert a person away from the things that are forbidden, if the means for those sins become available: ڪَذَٲلِكَ لِنَصۡرِفَ عَنۡهُ ٱلسُّوٓءَ وَٱلۡفَحۡشَآءَۚ إِنَّهُ ۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ "And thus [it was] that We should avert from him (Yusuf AS) evil and immorality. Indeed, he was of Our chosen slaves." (Yusuf: 24)#SheikhTarefeGems Gems From The Quran Telegram: goo.gl/ZclAR9 Instagram: goo.gl/OaiQD7 Facebook: goo.gl/jJ90YS
'When the wife of Aziz tried to seduce Yusuf AS, she did whatever she could to keep it a secret. The Qur'an said "She tightly locked all the doors of the palace", but alas, skip a few verses and you hear the women of the city were gossiping about it! “Lets take a look at Yusuf (alayhis salam). When Yusuf (as) was in prison, he was making du’a that the man narrates his dream to the king so that he may be freed. His du’a was only asking for freedom. BUT what was Allah planning for him? While Yusuf AS was making du’a to be freed, Allah was planning something else. Something far greater. Yusuf AS eventually became King of Egypt! While we sit there making du’a, Allah is above us planning far greater things, things we could never imagine. Truth is Allah never stops for one minute. He never stops planning and putting the pieces of our lives together. And it will all come together when He decides for it to come together. All we have to do is keep going, keep making our du’as and never give up! Dont let your failures knock You down. Dust off the dirt and rise up higher!” — Unknown author
Yusuf AS said to his brother: “do not be distressed…” (12:69) فَلَا تَبۡتَٮِٕسۡ And the man of Madyan said to Musa AS: “do not fear…” (28:25) لَا تَخَفۡۖ And our Prophet SAW said to Abu Bakr RA: “do not grieve…” (9:40) لَا تَحۡزَنۡ Providing reassurance during times of panic is the way of the Prophets. "He (Prophet Ya’qub عليه السلام) said, "I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allah, and I know from Allah that which you do not know.” (12:86) -- “It is truly an ignorant person who complains about Allah to people.
Such a person has displayed the deepest depths of ignorance concerning both Allah and people:
If he truly knew Allah, he would never complain about Him; if he truly understood people, he would never complain to them.
When you complain to the son of Adam, You have left the Merciful for one who is not.
Someone who truly knows Allah will only ever complain to Him.
Amongst this category of people, the best is the person who complains to Allah, not about other people, but about himself (and his spiritual condition).
This person has grasped the real reason behind his difficulties and is looking to His words,
‘Any disaster that strikes you is because of what your own hands have done,’ (Q42:30)
‘Any bad things that happen to you [ultimately] come from yourself,’ (Q4:79)
‘Why is it that when a calamity happens to you, when you have already inflicted twice as much, you say, ‘How could this possibly happen?’ Say, You brought it upon yourselves.’ (Q3:165)
Therefore, there are three levels of people: the meanest is the person who complains about Allah to people, the most sublime is the person who complains about himself to Allah, and middlemost is the person who complains about other people to Allah.”
- Imam Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله).

“He [Jacob] said, "I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allah”” (Qur’an 12:86) قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أَشۡكُواْ بَثِّى وَحُزۡنِىٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ The only direction your complaints should be aimed is to Allah. Besides Allah, no other party possesses for you any benefit or harm. Gems From The Quran Telegram: goo.gl/ZclAR9 Instagram: goo.gl/OaiQD7 Facebook: goo.gl/jJ90YS
{Indeed I sense the smell of Yusuf} Surah Yusuf:94
Those who hold a good opinion of Allah tend to smell the fragrance of relief, despite its distance.
Surah Yusuf 12:94
After a lifetime of struggle, Yūsuf a.s. finally starts to witness the rewards for his patience. He is the ʿAzīz of al-Miṣr, he is proven innocent of any wrongdoing, he is honoured by Allāh and by his people, and he is (finally) united with his beloved father and family. What does he say as he is surrounded by his loved ones? ﴾YOU (Allāh) are my friend in this world and the Next.﴿ He remembers the One who did not forsake his side in the darkest depths of gloom. ﴿رَبِّ قَدْ آَتَيْتَنِي مِنَ الْمُلْكِ وَعَلَّمْتَنِي مِنْ تَأْوِيلِ الْأَحَادِيثِ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَنْتَ وَلِيِّي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآَخِرَةِ تَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِماً وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ﴾ ﴾My Lord, You have given me [something] of sovereignty and taught me of the interpretation of dreams. Creator of the heavens and earth, You are my protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim and join me with the righteous.﴿ Yūsuf:101 QR Blog

Something interesting: When the mufassir Moḥammed Rashīd Riḍā, author of Tafsīr al-Manār, was writing his book of tafsīr he was persistent upon this one duʿāʾ, he would repeatedly make it. And perhaps as an answer to his duʿāʾ, the last āyah he wrote tafsir on before Allāh took his soul was this very āyah from sūrat Yūsuf.
After his passing, his student sheikh Bahjat al-Bayṭār completed the tafsīr of sūrat Yūsuf and then it was published.
May Allāh grant us a life in the shade of the Qurʾān and make the outcome in all our matters a virtuous one.

By Allah, the best thing for a person is to live his life till death in a state of contentment and satisfaction with Allah. Indeed, the believer won't experience true eeman until he lives life in a state of contentment with Allah. Of course, we are pleased with Allah, at all times, but we can specify a few. The situations during which the believer should be pleased with Allah are three:
The first situation is when he is given a nemah (grace) from Allah. So if a slave receives a nemah from Allah how can he not have a complete sense of satisfaction in his heart, this is one situation.
The second situation - and this is greater than the first - a person is content with Allah when He gave him tawfeeq to do an act of obedience. The more he is given tawfeeq from Allah, the more he is pleased with Allah, because he ponders and realizes that when he is given tawfeeq it means that Allah loves him. May Allah love us all. Aameen.
The third situation - and this is the highest - is when Allah protects you and comes between you and a sin you were about to commit, and He saved you from it. I swear that Allah will never protect a person from a sin, a sin that he can do, and is planning to do, except that he honours him.
وَلَقَدْ هَمَّتْ بِهِ ۖ وَهَمَّ بِهَا لَوْلَا أَن رَّأَىٰ بُرْهَانَ رَبِّهِ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ لِنَصْرِفَ عَنْهُ السُّوءَ وَالْفَحْشَاءَ ۚ إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُخْلَصِينَ - 12:24 And she certainly determined [to seduce] him, and he would have inclined to her had he not seen the proof of his Lord. And thus [it was] that We should avert from him evil and immorality. Indeed, he was of Our chosen servants.
These statuses, Allah gives them to those whom He chooses of His slaves. And be certain that whenever Allah protects you from a sin, and you were grateful to Him, He will protect you from a greater sin. Until He prepares you to enter jannah. To purify you, your body and your soul.
One of the greatest karamat from Allah, is that He becomes your protector in what is manifest and what is hidden.
وَهُوَ الَّذِي يُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ مِن بَعْدِ مَا قَنَطُوا وَيَنشُرُ رَحْمَتَهُ ۚ وَهُوَ الْوَلِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ - 42:28 And it is He who sends down the rain after they had despaired and spreads His mercy. And He is the Protector, the Praiseworthy.
This ayah has a great meaning, that Allah never lets down those who are under His protection.
The father does not fail to take care of his children. And the teacher does not lead his students astray. And the mother never fails to protect her kids. Then what about Rabbil izzati wal jalal, the Lord of dignity and honour?
Allah never fails to protect those who are in His protection. So the greatest thing a slave can look forward to having is Allah's protection.
Pray at night as much as you are able. When you are standing before the Hands of Allah, الْوَلِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ, the Protector, the Praiseworthy, say, with complete understanding of the meaning, وَتَوَلَّنِي فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَ Protect me among those whom You have protected
I ask you, how can anything harm you when you are in the protection of Allah? It is impossible!
