“If you could only see, when they are made to stand before the Fire, how they will say, ‘If only we could be sent back’” (Qur’an 6:27) وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذۡ وُقِفُواْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ فَقَالُواْ يَـٰلَيۡتَنَا نُرَدُّ Merely seeing the Fire makes them wish to return to this life on earth in order to do good; what about when they enter it?! The first thing that befalls a community destined for destruction is that Allah takes away their sound understanding. "Then why, when Our punishment came to them, did they not humble themselves? But their hearts became hardened, and Satan made attractive to them that which they were doing." (6:43)

24 hours not enough? Too many things to do and not enough time? وَهَٰذَا كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ مُبَارَكٌ “This is a blessed Scripture that We have sent down” (Qur’an 6:92) One of the Salaf said: كلما زاد حزبي من القرآن، زادت البركة في وقتي ، ولا زلت أزيد حتى بلغ حزبي عشرة أجزاء “Every time I increased upon my (daily) portion of Qur’an, my time would increase in barakah (blessing). I kept on increasing up until my daily portion reached ten ajzaa (a third of the Qur’an)!” Give Qur’an more of your precious time and watch as the hours expand to allow you to fit more in them than you could ever imagine. Tafseer As Saedy Juz 7| Surah Al Anaam: Ayah 110 • And We will turn their hearts and their sights, even as they did not believe in it the first time, and We will leave them in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on.
Meaning , “We punished them”. - when they did not believe the first time the caller came to them and the evidence was established against them - so they were punished by their hearts being turned over and being prevented from imaan, and lack of tawfeeq(success) to tread upon the straight path.
And this is from the justice of Allah and his wisdom towards His slaves. For they are the ones who put themselves into the problem.
The door was opened for them but they did not enter it, and the path was made clear for them but they did not tread it, so therefore after all that success was prevented from them, according to their state.
So according to that, a person’s imaan is connected to their intentions - and they are left to walk by themselves, as their lack of reliance on Allah was the biggest of their mistakes.
These people were shown the greatest of ayaat and signs, including angels coming down, witnessing the messenger bring the message, seeing the dead speak and their coming back to life, yet they did not believe.
It is not enough for simply witnessing ayaat to establish Imaan. Rather what is needed is for the slave to have the intention to follow the truth and then seek it through the ways which Allah made clear, and then act upon it, while seeking help from his Lord in following it, and not to rely on himself and his own power and ability, and not ask for signs in a way of argumentation which will not bring him benefit.

May Allah not prevent us from Imaan and from benefiting from His signs, and make us from those who strive to seek the truth and follow it and benefit from it.

Tafseer As Saedy Juz 8| Surah Al Anaam: Ayah 120
And abandon open and secret sin; surely they who earn sin shall be recompensed with what they earned.
What is intended by “sin” is all sins the slave commits, in other words, his falling into sin and problems - from the things that are connected to the rights of Allah, and the rights of the slaves. So Allah prevented the slave from committing all kinds of sins : the apparent and hidden; the secret and public. Those that are connected with the body and limbs, and those that are connected to the heart.
And it is not possible for the slave to completely leave of sins, apparent and hidden, except by knowing about them and having deep knowledge regarding them.
Therefore, knowing about them and having deep knowledge regarding the sins of the heart and body is compulsory upon every mukallaf (mature, sane, accountable person).
Yet, many people are unaware of many sins, especially the sins of the heart, like pride, being amazed with ones self, showing off and so on.
To the extent that a person may be deeply involved (in the aforementioned sins) without realizing it or even feeling it in the slightest, and this is a sign of turning away from knowledge ; and lack of deep insight.
Then, Allah informs that those who earned sins whether apparent or hidden, will be recompensed according to what they earned and according to the severity of their sins; whether little or great.
And this recompense will be in the Aakhirah, but it could possibly be in the Dunya as well, that the slave is punished. And this is a means of lightening his burden of sins.

Allah’s commandments do not have an exception based on time, place, situation, person or system. Allah says: { قُلْ إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ } “Say: Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds.” [Al-Anʿām 6:162]
أوامر الله للإنسان لا يُستثنى منها زمان ولا مكان ولا حال ولا مكلّف ولا نظام، قال الله (قل إن صلاتي ونسكي ومحياي ومماتي لله رب العالمين)
