[What! do you think that you will be left alone while Allah has not yet made known those of you who have struggled hard and have not taken any one as an adherent besides Allah and His Apostle and the believers; and Allah is aware of what you do.]
Allah says to his believing slaves after commanding them to Jihaad, [Or do you think you will be left alone] without any trials or tests , that which will distinguish the truthful one from the liar?
[..and Allah has not yet made apparent those who strive and struggle from amongst you] meaning knowledge that makes the strength apparent from the outside, so that there may be connected to it Reward and recompense, so Allah knows those who strive and struggle in this path to raise His word high.
[And those who do not take besides Allah and His messenger and the believers, any confiding companion.] meaning, those who do not take one of the disbelievers as a protecting friend. Rather they only take Allah, His messenger, and the believers as friends. So Allah legislated jihad to Acheive this great goal, which is to separate those who are truthful and do not favor anything except the religion of Allah , from the liars who pretend to have Imaan while taking close companions and friends besides Allah, His messenger, and the believers.
[And Allah is all Knowing of that which you do]. Allah knows that which happens to you and what you do, so He tests you with that which makes apparent the reality of what you are upon, and He will recompense you according to your deeds, the good of them, and the evil of them.

There is no authentic ḥadīth from the Prophet ﷺ concerning Rajab, and it is not prescribed to specify it with worship, like prayer or fasting. However, it is among the sacred months, and sin in it is greater: { فَلَا تَظْلِمُوا فِيهِنَّ أَنْفُسَكُمْ } “So do not wrong yourselves therein.” [Al-Tawbah 9:36]
“If you do not aid the Prophet - Allāh has already aided him.” [At-Tawbah 9:40] Allāh has ensured that He would stand up in support of His Prophet and aid him, however He has warned us that if we do not stand up in support of him He would punish the Ummah that failed him and replace them with others who would stand up for him.
“When he said to his companion ‘do not grieve, surely Allah is with us…’” (Qur’an 9:40) إِذۡ يَقُولُ لِصَـٰحِبِهِۦ لَا تَحۡزَنۡ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَنَاۖ The most loyal and valuable of friends are those who venerate Allah’s love in your heart and make you feel that He is with you. Although the Prophet (s.a.w) was going through hardship himself, يَقُولُ لِصَـٰحِبِهِۦ لَا تَحۡزَنۡ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَنَا “He said to his companion, ‘Do not grieve; indeed Allah is with us.’” (Qur’an 9:40) From the rights of companionship is to relieve worries, sadness and grief from one another. We should strive to console others, even when we are living through our own times of hardship. Gems From The Quran Telegram: goo.gl/ZclAR9 Instagram: goo.gl/OaiQD7 Facebook: goo.gl/jJ90YS
Yusuf AS said to his brother: “do not be distressed…” (12:69) فَلَا تَبۡتَٮِٕسۡ And the man of Madyan said to Musa AS: “do not fear…” (28:25) لَا تَخَفۡۖ And our Prophet SAW said to Abu Bakr RA: “do not grieve…” (9:40) لَا تَحۡزَنۡ Providing reassurance during times of panic is the way of the Prophets. When some of the companions wanted to support the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his da’wah, but could not do so due to the lack of resources, Allah revealed: وَلَا عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا مَآ أَتَوۡكَ لِتَحۡمِلَهُمۡ قُلۡتَ لَآ أَجِدُ مَآ أَحۡمِلُڪُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ تَوَلَّواْ وَّأَعۡيُنُهُمۡ تَفِيضُ مِنَ ٱلدَّمۡعِ حَزَنًا أَلَّا يَجِدُواْ مَا يُنفِقُونَ “And there is no blame attached to those who came to you [Prophet] for riding animals and to whom you said, ‘I cannot find a mount for you’: they turned away with their eyes overflowing with tears of grief that they had nothing they could contribute.” (Qur’an 9:92) Missing out on an act of worship caused them distress; how then was their crying over committing a sin? Notice they did not merely “cry”; rather their eyes swelled and flooded, overflowing with tears. So what are the matters that we cry about today? The hijrī calender is taken into account from Allah’s statement: { لَّمَسْجِدٌ أُسِّسَ عَلَى التَّقْوَى مِنْ أَوَّلِ يَوْمٍ } “A masjid founded on righteousness from the first day…” [Al-Tawbah 9:108] Allah called it the first day, and this day was the first of the days of the Hijrah. Suhaylī narrated it from the Companions. يؤخذ الاعتبار بالتاريخ الهجري من قوله تعالى : (لمسجد أسس على التقوى من أول يوم) سماه الله أول يوم وهذا اليوم أول أيام الهجرة حكاه السهيلي عن الصحابة Shaikh Abdul Aziz Al-Tarefe
Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah ? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment.
Shaykh Abdallah Amin says at least once every lesson as of late: Our problem is that we want to have our cake and eat it too. Allah has promised us Paradise for eternity if only we dedicate our lives and our wealth to Him and what He loves. Alas! We want to dedicate our lives and our wealth to our own entertainment and still have Paradise! Everything has a price, if only we were willing to pay it!
"Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise." [9:111]
Tafseer As Saedy Juz 11| Surah At Tawbah: Ayah 126
Do they not see that they are tested once or twice in every year, yet they do not turn back (to Allah) nor do they remember/take heed?.
Allah tells them - reproachfully for their continuous disbelief and hypocrisy - Do they not see that they are tested once or twice in every year, yet they do not turn back (to Allah) nor do they remember/take heed?. — From what affected you from trails and disease, and what you were tested with various affairs.
And yet they did not repent for that which you were upon from evil and neither did they take any heed or remembrance, for that which would benefit them; so they could do it, or that which would harm them ; so they could leave it.
So Allah tested them as is His way for all nations- with ease and with difficulty and with commands and prohibitions- so they could come back to him, yet the did not repent nor return nor take any heed from these tests.
And in these Ayaat there is proof that Imaan rises and falls, and that it is required for the believer to take care of his Imaan and guard it; and keep renewing it, so that his Imaan may always be upon the path of elevation.

The one who fears criticism the most is the hypocrite, because what he conceals within is far greater than what he makes apparent, and so he fears being exposed: “And whenever a sūrah is revealed, they look at each other, saying, "Does anyone see you?" and then they dismiss themselves.” [At-Tawbah 9:127]
