Tafseer As Saedy Juz 27| Surah An Najm: Ayah 40-41 وَأَنَّ سَعْيَهُ سَوْفَ يُرَىٰ
[And that his striving shall soon be seen-]
ثُمَّ يُجْزَاهُ الْجَزَاءَ الْأَوْفَىٰ
[Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward-]
His striving will soon be seen in the next life, and his good will be distinguished from the evil.
Then he will be rewarded, a complete and full reward. Meaning a reward that is complete for the whole act of goodness that was done sincerely, it will be rewarded in full and in good.
As for the evil deed, it will also be recompensed in full in punishment.
The recompense will be according to Allah’s justice and also his Ihsaan to all of creation, and it is something Allah is praised for, until even the people of the fire enter the fire while their hearts are full of praise for their Lord, and acceptance and submission to Him due to His complete wisdom, while hating themselves, (knowing that) they were the ones who led themselves to the worst of states. And the proof of this is the statement of Allah وأن ليس للإنسان إلا ما سعى [And there is nothing for man except that which he put forth]
Some people have used this ayah to claim that this shows that when a person guides some one else to something good, the guided person’s actions will not benefit him. It will only benefit himself. However this is a wrong understanding, just as one can say there is no wealth for a person except for that which he owns. But if he is gifted something else it is also considered his. So, the ayah means that a person will have only that which he worked for. (If a person worked for helping guide another person, he will get the reward for it and the reward of the act done by the guided person, without his reward decreasing in the least).

May Allah forgive our sins and multiply our good deeds. Ameen :sparkles:
