~ Al-Aqsa Gem ~ Ibn Mas'ood (RA) mentions that the chapter 'Al-Israa is of the very first chapters to be revealed to the Prophet (salaAllahu 'alayhi wasalam). ' It is agreed that the very first verses of the Qur'aan seek to address the most fundamental and core message of Islam; including the 'Aqeedah, Tawheed, and the articles of faith. This indicates that al Aqsa Masjid is inseparable from our Aqeedah as Muslims, and part of our very identity as Muslims. #AlAqsa#Quds Gems From The Quran Telegram: goo.gl/ZclAR9 Instagram: goo.gl/OaiQD7
Masjid al-Aqṣa was the second Masjid to be built for Allah on earth. Its blessing surpasses its physical area to its surroundings, thus including those who reside in it, defend it and guard it: { الْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَى الَّذِي بَارَكْنَا حَوْلَهُ } “Al-Masjid al-Aqṣa whose surroundings We have blessed.” [Al-Isrā’ 17:1]
(المسجد الأقصى) ثاني مسجد بني لله في الأرض، تجاوزت بركته بقعته إلى ما حوله، فشملت من جاوره وناصره ورابط فيه (المسجد الأقصى الذي باركنا حوله)
~ Al-Aqsa Gem ~ Masjid al-Aqsa was named as such because of the distance between it and al-Masjid al-Haraam in Makkah. And it was the furthest Masjid from al-Masjid al-Haraam that would be frequented and honoured. ٱلَّذِي بَٰرَكۡنَا حَوۡلَهُ "Whose surroundings we have blessed..." It was said: (blessed with) fruits, crop and flowing rivers. And it was said (blessed with) those buried around it including Prophets and righteous people. And by this it was made *Muqaddas* (holy or purified). [Imam Al-Qurtubi] #AlAqsa#Quds Gems From The Quran Telegram: goo.gl/ZclAR9 Instagram: goo.gl/OaiQD7
~ Al-Aqsa Gem ~ سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَسۡرَىٰ بِعَبۡدِهِۦ لَيۡلٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡحَرَامِ إِلَى ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡأَقۡصَا ٱلَّذِي بَٰرَكۡنَا حَوۡلَهُۥ لِنُرِيَهُۥ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِنَآۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡبَصِيرُ "Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing." [Al-Israa': 1] *Al Aqsa* meaning that (Masjid) which is the furthest in distance. It is said that this verse in the Qur'aan gathers mention of Islam's three greatest Masaajid. Al-Masjid Al-Haraam, mentioned explicitly, Al-Aqsa which is an adjective of its positioning and a noun referring to the actual Masjid in Palestine. While *furthest* subtly indicates that there will be another Masjid which is closer to al-Masjid al-Haraam. This is none other than the Masjid of the Prophet, al-Masjid al-Nabawi in Madinah. Glory be to Allah and to the greatness of His speech. #AlAqsa#AlQuds Gems From The Quran Telegram: goo.gl/ZclAR9 Instagram: goo.gl/OaiQD7
The affair of the Ummah will never be upright except through the Qur’ān; according to how close they are to it is their power and strength, and according to how far they are from it is their deviation and weakness: { إِنَّ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ يَهْدِي لِلَّتِي هِيَ أَقْوَمُ } “Indeed, this Qur’ān guides to that which is most just and right.”
“This Qur’an does indeed show the straightest way.” (Qur’an 17:9) إِنَّ هَـٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ يَہۡدِى لِلَّتِى هِىَ أَقۡوَمُ Al-Qurtubi said: Whosoever is given understanding of the Qur'an but does not benefit from it, nor is deterred by its prohibitions and continues to engage in sin and scandalous crime, the Qur’an becomes a witness against him.

“My Lord, have mercy upon them as they had mercy upon me when I was small” (17:24)
Sheikh Abdur Rahman As-Sa’di mentioned this beautiful reflection: “Therefore whenever you find an individual who played a role in raising you, nurturing you, and developing you, then you have to give that person a portion of your du’a for mercy”.
Tafseer As Saedy :gem: Juz 15| Surah Al Isrā: Ayah 25
[Your Lord knows best what is in your souls; if you are righteous, then He is surely Most Forgiving to those who turn (to Him) frequently.] Israa; 25
Your Lord Allah is Ever watching over that which you hide from your secrets - from both good and evil; and He does not look at your bodies, rather he looks only at your hearts and that which is in it from good and evil.
[If you are righteous] due to which your intentions and desires circle solely around the pleasure of Allah; and your deepest wishes are that which will bring you closer to him; and there are no intentions or wants established in your hearts for anyone or anything other than Allah,
[Then indeed He is,towards those who come back to him ] meaning those who always turn to him every time, [Most Forgiving]
So whoever Allah looks at his heart and knows that there is nothing in it except “Al Inaabah “ constantly turning back to Him, and love for Him, and Love for that which brings him closer to Him, then even if he sins occasionally due to that which follows his human, nature, then Allah graciously pardons him and forgives him for the passing occasional sins which are not habitual.
-Summarized Translation-
May Allah make us from those who Allah mentions here with such lofty characteristics- those whose hearts are free from any love and desire except Him; so He graciously pardons them, forgives them, and has mercy on them. :herb:🕊

Ibn Al Qayyim said: In this noble Ayah, the three noble positions are mentioned- love, and that is desiring and seeking closeness to Allaah, and drawing near to Him through righteous deeds, hope and fear. And this is in fact the reality of Tawheed, and the reality of the deen of Islam.

When a staunch enemy admits that he is here to destroy you, would you obey him? This is exactly the confession of the devil as he envied the creation of our father Adam: قَالَ أَرَءَيۡتَكَ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى ڪَرَّمۡتَ عَلَىَّ لَٮِٕنۡ أَخَّرۡتَنِ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَـٰمَةِ لَأَحۡتَنِكَنَّ ذُرِّيَّتَهُ ۥۤ إِلَّا قَلِيلاً۬ “And [then Iblees] said, ‘You see this being You have honoured above me? If You delay me until the Day of Resurrection, I will lead all but a few of his descendants by the nose.’” (Qur’an 17:62) Shaytan will constantly try to dishonour you and rob you of the status Allah has given you. Keep the status of honour given to you by Allah, by not following the whispers of Iblees. Happiness of pure hearts comes through attachment & recitation of the Koran: (Those given the Book rejoice at what has been revealed to u)13:36
Memorizing Koran isn't just about a strong memory! The question is, does ALLAH (subhanu watala) want you to have it? (We could take away the revelation from u)17:86
