They ask you, [O Muhammad], what has been made lawful for them. Say, "Lawful for you are [all] good foods and [game caught by] what you have trained of hunting animals which you train as Allah has taught you. So eat of what they catch for you, and mention the name of Allah upon it, and fear Allah ." Indeed, Allah is swift in account.
Allah has placed such a premium and value on knowledge that He has even used it to distinguish between dogs! The animal that a trained dog has hunted and killed is permissible for you to eat, while the animal killed by an untrained dog is not!
Ibn Mas'ud said: "A person may forget the knowledge he has due to a sin he commits." فَبِمَا نَقۡضِہِم مِّيثَـٰقَهُمۡ لَعَنَّـٰهُمۡ وَجَعَلۡنَا قُلُوبَهُمۡ قَـٰسِيَةً۬ۖ يُحَرِّفُونَ ٱلۡڪَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِۦۙ وَنَسُواْ حَظًّ۬ا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهِ “But they broke their pledge, so We distanced them [from Us] and hardened their hearts. They distort the meaning of [revealed] words and have forgotten some of what they were told to remember” (Qur’an 5:13) Therefore guard your knowledge by protecting it from sin.

Enmity of Islam (#Islamophobia) does not halt its spread. If one person apostates from within it, an entire group will enter it from its outside. Allah said: { مَن يَرْتَدَّ مِنكُمْ عَن دِينِهِ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِي اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ } “Whoever of you should revert from his religion, Allah will bring forth a people [in place of them].” [Al-Mā’idah 5:54]
معاداة الإسلام لا توقف انتشاره، فإن ارتدّ واحد من داخله، دخل الإسلامَ جماعةٌ من خارجه، قال تعالى (من يرتد منكم عن دينه فسوف يأتي الله بقوم)
Among the characteristics of the Jews is that they create strife among Muslims in order to exhaust them, busy them and divide them through it: { كُلَّمَا أَوْقَدُوا نَارًا لِّلْحَرْبِ أَطْفَأَهَا اللَّهُ ۚ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَسَادًا } “Every time they kindled the fire of war, Allah extinguished it. And they strive throughout the land causing corruption.” [Al-Mā’idah 5:64]
من صفات اليهود افتعال الفتن بين المسلمين لاستنزافهم وإشغالهم وتفريقهم بها، (كلما أوقدوا نارا للحرب أطفأها الله ويسعون في الأرض فسادا)
Tafseer As Saedy :gem: Juz 6| Surah Al Maaidah: Ayah 71
And they thought that there would be no affliction, so they became blind and deaf; then Allah turned to them mercifully, but then many of them became blind and deaf; and Allah is well seeing what they do.
And they thought that there would be no affliction(fitnah) meaning: they thought their sins and rejecting of the truth would not bring about punishment and retribution, so they continued upon their falsehood. Then they became blind and deaf towards the truth then Allah turned to them compassionately when they repented to Him and came back to him, but then they did not continue upon that path (of tawbah) until the state of most of them reverted back to the ugly state they were once in then many of them became blind and deaf; having these attributes once again, and very few of them continued upon their tawbah (repentance) and upon their Imaan.
And Allah is All seeing if whatever they do so He will recompense each doer for his deeds, if it’s good then good, and if it is evil then evil.-
—Summarized Translation --
May Allah make us of those who constantly repent to Allah and never leave the path of tawbah

“You will see their eyes overflowing with tears because they recognise the Truth” (Qur’an 5:83) تَرَى أَعْيُنَهُمْ تَفِيضُ مِنَ الدَّمْعِ مِمَّا عَرَفُوا مِنَ الْحَقِّ The relationship between the eye and the heart is a very profound one.
